ArcelorMittal Dofasco has developed this manual for use by all third party companies who perform work or provide services on ArcelorMittal Dofasco premises. Third Parties include all on site service providers, construction contractors, outside carriers, and all subcontractors.

 

The conservation and protection of our natural environment is a fundamental consideration and the responsibility of every employee at ArcelorMittal Dofasco. In addition to health and safety commitments, environmental assurances are expected by each third party employer to its employees.

 

This program does not cover all of the site-specific or project-specific health and safety issues that may arise. This manual and its requirements are in addition to the requirements of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act and any other applicable regulations such as the Regulations for Industrials Establishments, Regulations for Construction Projects, or the Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants.
