This transaction set is based on the ANSI ASC X.12 (AIAG) Standard, version 3030.

Purpose

This ASN transaction provides the format and establishes the data content of a Dofasco ship
notice/manifest for use in an electronic business environment.

Application

The ASN lists the contents of a shipment of goods as well as additional information relating to the shipment, such as order information, carrier information and configuration of goods within the transporation equipment.
